The Rock River Players invite you to audition for our upcoming evening of musical theater!
Directed by Walter Cramer, this two-week July run will offer an evening of songs from lesser-known musicals – or lesser-known songs from popular musicals – for musical theater lovers of all walks to enjoy!
A lineup of solos, duets, and ensemble numbers will be lightly staged and strung together by narration – a format that allows for a shorter and less involved rehearsal and production schedule without sacrificing the quality of music or the theatrical experience for the audience.

WHAT TO BRING:
We encourage auditioners to select a song that they would like us to consider adding to the program for them to sing in the production. Please come prepared with sheet music or a recorded instrumental track to accompany your audition!
Musical Director, Dan DeWalt, will be at auditions to provide singers using your sheet music (please no requests for transposing on sight), and we will also have a speaker available for pre-recorded accompaniment.
PRODUCTION DETAILS
Rehearsals:
Starting in early June, performers can expect 1-2 rehearsals per week, to be scheduled per cast availability.
Production Week:
Tech rehearsals will take place between Sunday July 12 and Wednesday July 15, with a final dress rehearsal on Thursday July 16.
Performances:
July 17-19 and 24-26
Friday & Saturday shows @ 7pm
Sunday matinees @ 2pm
We are also looking for volunteers to support behind the scenes with stage management, lights and sound, costumes and props, and more!
